Rocky Run Middle School's Team Robowiz representing the Virginia/DC FLL region was placed Third Overall in the Champion's Award at the 2012 FLL World Invitational Robotics Championship, in Legoland, FL on Sunday May 6th. What a victory for this amazing group of kids and coaches! It was an incredible experience for Team Robowiz - meeting and competing with 64 teams from around the world all weekend.

Rocky Run Middle School participated in Chantilly Pyramid's College Day on Friday April 13, 2012!
NASA's oldest surviving space shuttle Discovery flew over Rocky Run Middle School on Tuesday April 17, 2012 on a final voyage to it's new home at the Smithsonian institution's facility at Dulles International Airport.
