Chantilly High School Summer Program -
If you are going to be a ninth grader at CHS next year, are you going to take a language, or , would you like to review your language at CHS before Level II?  CHS offers several camps for foreign language over the summer…. Follow the link to the Summer Programs Page.

8th Grade Dance -
The 2009 8th Grade Dance tickets will be on sale in the cafeteria during lunch on June 9th, 10th, 11th. The dance will be on June 12th from 7:00pm to 10:00pm.

Pre-AP Summer Seminar -
An intensive, week-long BOOT CAMP designed for seriuos students. Students will work wit Pre-AP teachers to learn close reading strategies, critical thinking, and research skills to better prepare them for the riors of the Pre-AP curriuculum. For further information, please see the attached flyer.

Summer Reading -
The summer reading list has been posted for Rising 7th and 8th graders at Rocky Run Middle School. Please follow the link to the summer reading information page.

Tech Adventure Camp -
The Tech Adventure Camp is designed to give current 5, 6, & 7 grade students an opportunity to explore careers and technology as they rotate through six areas over a two week program. The courses offered at the 2009 camp are; Creating the Shot, Design Studio, Hollywood Here We Come, Invent the Future, Make the Game, and Well Fit....Well Fed . Camp will be held at the Chantilly Academy and Lee High School, July 6-17, 2009 from 9 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day. The cost is $400.00. The registration form and information on the camp will be sent home to all 5, 6, & 7 graders the week of April 13th. Registration can be found at FCPS CTE website.

Attendance Line -
Please provide specific information about your child’s reason for absence.  If your child is ill, please be specific as to a physician’s diagnosis such as strep throat or pink eye.  If your child has not seen a physician, please be specific about the symptoms your child is having such as fever, cough, sore throat, headache, diarrhea, or vomiting.  Thank you.

You're Invited! Rocky Run appreciates all the volunteer help we receive please come join us at the volunteer reception.

TECHSTRAVAGANZA -
Saturday, March 28 from 1:00 to 4:00PM. Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology hosts this hands-on science carnival every year. We'd love to have you there! Come learn, experiment, meet scientists, and win prizes!

CPMSAC 2009 S.O.N-LIGHT Student Enrichment -

Parent Information Network - Feb. 19, 2009
Please join us on Thursday, February 19, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. for our Parent Information Night,“It’s Never To Early to Think About College!”Our speaker, Ms. Alice Robertson, the Career Specialist at Chantilly, will provide information and answer any questions parents may have about preparing their child for college and the college admission process. After School Club Calendars
The after school club calendars have been updated. There are two calendars, monthly view and daily view.

After School Programs and Clubs
Rocky Run offers over 20 enriching and fun clubs for students to choose from after the school day is over. Check out the descriptions of each club and the weekly fall schedule that is being currently offered. All students wanting to stay after school (even for teacher help or music practice) will need to return the parental consent form to the main office by the first week of school. Sign ups will be Sept 22-26 in the cafeteria during all lunches. All forms, schedules and contact info can be found at our After School Programs page. Please visit often to check for new additions or changes.
