About WROK

Students will learn how to edit videos and images and use video and audio editing programs. During class, students will plan, produce, and edit video. Students' video is combined into a 12-15 minute long show that airs regularly during activity periods. Students will use their acting and public speaking skills. This class is one semester long.

Equipment You Will Use

  • Cameras
  • 12 AA Batteries (bring them in)
  • Editing programs:
    • Audacity
    • Windows Movie Maker
    • Photostory
    • Ulead Studio 10
You may have to download Audacity and Photostory at home.

Grading

Your grade is made up of three parts:
Participation - 50%

Broadcast (just your piece) - 40%

Idea Bank/Journals/Feedback - 10%
