A Long Way Gone

Databases:

	Go to World Geography. Type in country names like Rwanda, Sierra Leone, etc. and subjects like genocide, conflict diamond, etc. in search box.
	Go to World Edition. Select region (i.e., Africa) and then country (i.e., Rwanda) and look at that country's history for more information.
	Go to Virtual Reference Library. type in search terms like: Genocide in Rwanda, Apartheid in South Africa, etc.

Internet Websites you may want to use:

You will find many sources of information on the Internet, but you will need to authenticate and critically evaluate the sites before using them. Many people post their own personal opinions and beliefs and may not present the information objectively. If you have any questions about the validity of the information, check with your instructor. The following sites have been reviewed for you and should be your first line of inquiry using the Internet after the databases.
