Blackboard

Students are enrolled in a course on Blackboard, Robinson Library Media Center. Please check Blackboard for research assistance, passwords to access databases from home, citation guidance, and more.

eReaders

New this year! Our library has several eReaders, the Barnes and Noble Nook Simple Touch, available for checkout.  We offer current popular titles on the device, and will be adding new titles throughout the year.  Students will need to complete a permission form to borrow an eReader. Fill out the form, have a parent sign it, and return the form to the library to borrow an eReader.

eBooks

Fairfax County provides over 1100 eBooks, or online reference books and encyclopedias. These are available primarily in databases such as Gale Virtual Reference Library, ABC-Clio eBook Collection, and World Book.

Readers' Clubs

Our library sponsors two readers' clubs. The Robbie Book Club for middle school students meets once a month on Mondays with Ms. Morgan. The high school Reader's Club meets the first Thursday of each month with Ms. Keith. Join our high school Facebook group, Robinson Reader's Club, to keep up with meetings and book discussions.
