A Message from RBSS Athletic Director – Marty Riddle

Teaching Life Skills through Athletics:

A strong and vibrant activities program is a vital part of the total program at Robinson Secondary School.
Students have many interests and talents that must be directed in a positive and constructive manner
within a comprehensive extracurricular program that compliments the overall mission of the school. The basic philosophy of our activities program is linked to four key terms:
Discipline: This is a Positive Term! Discipline is – doing what you are supposed to do, when you are supposed to
do it, the best way you possibly can, and doing it that way all of the time.
Remember that discipline cannot be done to someone, only with someone!
Respect: Treating other as they would want to be treated.
Leadership: Being a consistent, positive, powerful influence!
Loyalty: You can never underestimate the importance of loyalty. We must be loyal to each other and to the
school program as a whole. Questions concerning policies, procedures, and personnel must be asked at the
appropriate place and time. We must support the decisions made by the Administrative Team, Coaches,
and Sponsors. Loyalty is a two way street. Each person’s individual accomplishments will be proportional to
that of our collective success.

Encouraging all of the members of our activities program to be disciplined and respectful in all of our
endeavors while developing each individual’s leadership skills and promoting an environment of loyalty
will enhance the overall mission of our school.

Go Rams !!!
