Finding Nemo
Ms. Greene's fifth grade class watched the movie Finding Nemo and create a Venn diagram of all of the things that were incorrect with the movie, and things that were true when compared with the real ocean based on what they learned. The students then used their diagrams to type up their own letters to Pixar, and after going through the editing and revision stages, they printed them and mailed them off to California to Pixar Studios.
They were excited when they discovered that Pixar responded! Pixar sent a personal letter to the class, along with an autographed picture of Finding Nemo.
Way to go fifth grade!
