Students, parents, staff, and One Desk Foundation volunteers created an outdoor space for active learning experiences and connecting to nature. Showing excellence in life, work, and citizenship skills, students were honored with lunches grilled by the principal and certificates of achievement. Fifth grade students presented their positions on studying the ocean versus outer space. Students showed their love of reading during Dr. Suess week. Upper grade students performed musical pieces that delighed the easr of our school community. Our community pitched in clearing sidewalks and making it safe for students to return to school. Thank you!

Book Your Summer

Spend your summer reading! Book Your Summer is the FCPS program to build a community of readers. Rising 1st through 12th grade students use the READ! activity card as a guide. (Activity card in English and Spanish)

Summer BBQ Lunch

Children and youth age 2-18 years can receive free BBQ lunch from June 27 to September 2, 2016 at Riverside.
