Students, parents, staff, and One Desk Foundation volunteers created an outdoor space for active learning experiences and connecting to nature. Showing excellence in life, work, and citizenship skills, students were honored with lunches grilled by the principal and certificates of achievement. Riverside's parents, students, and staff celebrated our wonderfully diverse and dynamic community by sharing cultural music, dance, arts, and displays. To promote healthy habits, students participated in Walk Bike to School Day with their parents and teachers as guides. Upper grade students performed musical pieces that delighted the ears of our school community. Kindergarten through sixth grade students highlighted their science learning to the community. Attendees engaged in hand-on activities linked to our STEAM initiative.
