Welcome RCMS parents and students! The RCMS-PTA wants you to come to  our monthly meetings and get involved at the school.  Go to www.SignUpGenius.com , choose the menu option “Find a Sign-Up”,  and enter our email address, RCMSPTA@gmail.com at the prompt. Then sign up to help! Membership Make a difference at RCMS - join the RCMS-PTA.   An individual membership is $12.  Two adult members in a family can join for a discounted rate of $10 each ($20 total). Look for the membership form in the First Day Packets, or stop by the main office after August 28, to pick one up. Committee Chairs Needed for Hospitality and Book Fair The RCMS-PTA needs leaders for the Hospitality and Book Fair Committees. The Hospitality Committee organizes the parent luncheon in November and the Teacher appreciation luncheon in the spring. They also arrange some small gestures throughout the year to help build a sense of community and foster a welcoming and supportive environment at Carson. The Book Fair may be occurring this Fall instead of the Spring, so we need two or three parents to step forward and work with Kirk Treakle to plan and run the Book Fair. This is a major way that the PTA supports literacy at RCMS. When students spend time reading outside of school, their test scores and school performance dramatically increases.
