	Northwest Federal Credit Union (NWFCU), a not-for-profit financial cooperative, began its partnership with Rachel Carson Middle School in 2007. With assets exceeding $1.6 billion, NWFCU serves over 100,000 members nationwide. 	Northwest Federal Credit Union Foundation promotes and manages NWFCU’s charitable activities, and participates in financial literacy education and other programs that reflect the interests of our membership and the community as a whole. NWFCU Foundation offers scholarship opportunities to deserving students, provides volunteer opportunities, and supports numerous events throughout the year. In addition to providing volunteers for school activities, NWFCU Foundation has made donations to the school for equipment purchases and professional development for the staff.
