Giant A+ Bonus Bucks
Please remember to designate Rachel Carson Middle School for your A+ bonusbucks. Our School ID is 03624. You have to re-designate every school year. Giant Bonus Card holders may support your local school(s) (up to three) to benefit from the A+ BONUSBUCKS SM Program. Then every time you shop with your card between October 3, 2008 through April 2, 2009, your designated school(s) will earn A+ BONUSBUCKSSM which are converted to cash and credited to your school's account.

Box Tops 4 Education
*Submission dates for Box Tops are October 31st 2008 & February 28th 2009*

Collection box is located in Main Office. There will also be monthly individual and class contests. Contest entry forms can be found here.

The Box Tops program has three main components through which you can earn cash for your school:
**Box Tops Coupons - Clip Box Tops coupons from hundreds of participating products found in your local grocery store and send them to your school. Your school earns 10? for each Box Top redeemed.
**The Box Tops MarketplaceSM - Shop online at your favorite stores like JCPenney and Lands' End through the Box Tops for Education Marketplace. Your school earns a percentage of each qualifying purchase at no additional cost to you.
**The Box Tops Book Club – Buy books through the Box Tops Book Club and you can earn one Box Top for every dollar spent.

Harris Teeter's Together In Education
The TIE Program runs from August to May every school year.
When customers purchase select Harris Teeter Brand products using their VIC card, Harris Teeter contributes a percentage of those purchase dollars to the schools of their choice. The Milk Challenge Program--Harris Teeter only!
This program allows you to earn cash for your school by collecting caps from Harris Teeter Brand and Hunter Farms Brand half gallon or gallon containers of milk. Collect caps from Harris Teeter Brand and Hunter Farms half gallon or gallon milk containers which are designated with an "H" on the cap. Send your collected and washed milk caps to an enrolled school of your choice. Your school coordinator will submit collected milk caps to Harris Teeter for processing and verification. Each milk cap is worth $.05. Effective August 1, 2008 through May 31, 2009, Last year for this program so make sure you turn in ALL of your milk caps.

TIE Bonus Programs-
Pharmacy Program - A percentage of each prescription filled at Harris Teeter will be donated to TIE schools. Customers must have their VIC card linked to a TIE school in order to participate.

Teachers Of Excellence - The Harris Teeter Together in Education Teachers of Excellence Award provides public recognition and financial rewards to 10 Teachers who are furthering excellence in education. We will award each winning school and teacher with $1,000!! In order to nominate a teacher your school MUST have 100 links. **After we get 100 links we will work on nominating**

Cartridges for Kids
ARE YOU THROWING MONEY AWAY?

Every time you change the cartridge from your printer, fax machine, or copier and throw it away, you could be throwing away CA$H! That also applies to old cell phones, laptops, Palm Pilots, and iPods. This is an opportunity for everyone to help Rachel Carson Middle School raise funds and help future generations by protecting the environment. Parents please bring the above items to main office collection bins starting 10/1/07. There will be a reference manual located near collection bin if you would like to check if your items are on the list for collection.
