Notes from Ms. Lee, After-School Program Specialist /
List of Current RCMS Extracurricular Activities
Our program will soon be closing out year two. It has been an overwhelming
year with many new clubs starting throughout the year. Clubs have entered
competitions and have come home winners. Congratulations to our winners
from Math Counts, TSA Club, and the Jazz Ensemble. We will soon need
our own After-School Award showcase to display our trophies.
Over the summer we will be busy planning for the next school year with more fun activities. We will kick off with our first Friday Family Movie Night with our famous fresh-popped popcorn. Bowling Club can start as soon as we have enough interest to start rolling, and we will go. All club information will be posted on the After School bulletin board in the cafeteria. Be sure to keep checking the board and morning announcements.
My staff and I have gotten to know many students this year, and now some will be leaving us and moving on to high school. We will certainly miss them all. We wish them the very best. For those who will be returning, I look forward to hearing from you with suggestions as to what your interests are and what clubs you would like to see happen at RCMS.
