Mary Campbell is beginning her 9th year as an ESOL teacher at Providence ES. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education from James Madison University and her ESOL Endorsement from the University of Virginia. Mary lives in Fairfax with her husband Mark, and her two children Kelly and Jackson. She loves to spend her free time with her family, reading, quilting, gardening, and learning about her family genealogy. |

Donna Fallas will be starting her 15th year as a Reading Specialist in FCPS. This will be her fourth year working as a Reading Specialist at Providence. She graduated from Fairfield University in CT and then went on to receive her M.Ed in Reading from St. John's University in NYC. Donna currently lives in Vienna, VA with her husband, Jeff, and her two children Elizabeth and Anthony. When not working with the children at Providence she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. |

Jenn Gray has been a classroom teacher for ten years. During her years of teaching, she has taught preschool up to fifth graders. This year she has made the jump from a classroom teacher to an ESOL teacher. She was born in Indiana and graduated from Indiana University. She is currently finishing her Masters of Education in Curriculum & Instruction with a concentration in Multilingual-Multicultural Education at George Mason University. In her free time she loves spending time with her husband, daughter, and dog, cheering on the Colts, and learning to cook like her grandmothers. |

Angela Kheradmand has been a Reading Specialist in FCPS for 12 years and is currently our SULA teacher for the Title 1 program. She earned her M. Ed. In Reading from the University of Virginia. She is also an Adjunct Professor for the UVA graduate center in Falls Church. She enjoys spending her free time with her family. |

Cheryl Mallon has been teaching at Providence for 5 years. She taught 3rd grade and now she is teaching ESOL. Cheryl loves spending time with her family and her dog. She is expecting her second child. She looks forward to working with her colleagues and expanding her family. |

Lynn Murphy is the librarian at Providence Elementary. A voracious reader, she enjoys helping students from preschool through sixth grade develop a love of reading and find books to enjoy. Previously she was a middle school English teacher. At home she spends her time with her family cooking, playing, and reading to her grandchildren. |

Jennifer Poe is starting her second year as an ESOL teacher at PES. This is also her second year of teaching. She will be working part-time and is grateful to be with the wonderful staff and students at PES another year. She earned her B. A. from George Mason University in English with a concentration in Linguistics. She is currently working on a M. Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from GMU. Prior to earning her teaching certification she was a substitute teacher in Fairfax County for three and a half years. In her free time she enjoys cooking, crafting, traveling, and spending time with her husband and large extended family. |

Nasrin Safi has been teaching in Fairfax County for 8 years. She taught at Westlawn Elementary for 6 years as a 3rd grade teacher, and 1 year as an ESOL teacher. She is super excited to join the PES staff this year as part of the ESOL team! She went GMU for her BA in Sociology, teaching degree and Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. She also attended UVA for her ESOL certificate. She has 2 little ones, a boy and girl. Nasrin enjoys spending her free time with her husband and kids. Together they love to go out for frozen yogurt, travel, and garden! |

Meggan has been a teacher in the county for 10 years, 4 years as a 5th grade teacher and 6 years as an ESOL teacher. She most recently served as a Mentor Resource Teacher mentoring teachers new to the profession. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a B.A. in Elementary Education, and George Mason University with a masters in Multilingual/Multicultural Education. She enjoys spending time with her two children and husband, traveling, reading, and visiting friends and family. |

Ping Su has been teaching FLES Chinese in FCPS for four years and this is her third year at Providence. She earned her Master’s in Multicultural Education from University of Wisconsin. She loves spending her free time with her husband and three children, and enjoys hiking, reading, listening to music, and playing piano. |

Kathy Thiringer has been teaching for more than twenty years. She has been a reading resource teacher in Fairfax County for six years, and this is her third year at Providence. Kathy received her Bachelor's of Science in Early Childhood Education from the University of Virginia and her Masters in Literacy from George Mason University. She has a son and daughter who are both in high school and another son who will enter fifth grade this year. She lives in Vienna with her kids, husband and dog named Leo! |

Donzella White was born in Farmville, Virginia and graduated from Virginia State University. She is beginning her 18th year in FCPS as a reading specialist. She enjoys spending time with her family. Furthermore, she loves listening to music, walking, reading and traveling. |

Grace has taught Chinese at Providence for 5 years. Grace is originally from Taiwan and received her law degree in National Taiwan University and later received a master degree in Computer Science from DePaul University in Chicago. She developed the Virtual Chinese Level 3 lessons for the Virginia Department of Education. Currently, She is the web master and board member of Chinese Teacher Language Association in Virginia (CLTA-VA). Grace has two children and a puppy and enjoys reading, traveling and exercising. |
