Fourth Grade
Meet the PES 4th Grade Team
 |
Ms. Escueta has been teaching in Fairfax County for twenty-three years. This is her second year teaching 4th grade at Providence Elementary and her 13th year at PES. She has previously taught grades 3, 4, 5, and 6 in Fairfax County and 7th and 8th grade summer school in Pennsylvania. She is originally from Chambersburg, Pennsylvania and currently lives right here in the City of Fairfax. She completed her undergraduate degree at Indiana University of PA and her graduate degree at George Mason University. She is a mother who loves to spend time with her. Ms. Escueta loves to be outside whenever she can be to enjoy the wonders of nature. |

This is Mr. Kelly’s fourth year teaching at Providence and his first year working in fourth grade. After separating from the Marine Corps, Mr. Kelly earned his Master’s in Special Education from George Mason University. During his free time Mr. Kelly loves to travel and eat tasty food from around the world. |

Amy Kleiman will be teaching fourth grade at Providence this year. She completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Elementary Education at George Mason University. When she's not teaching, Mrs. Kleiman can be found in a cozy spot reading, puttering in her yard, or exploring the D.C. area with her husband, dog, and two daughters. |

Julianne Lee is excited to be joining the Providence family this year. She received her Bachelors of Arts in Economics and Masters of Teaching from the University of Virginia. After spending the last few years in Charlottesville teaching in Kindergarten and 2nd grade classrooms, she is glad to finally be back home in Fairfax County. In her free time she loves exploring new cultures and cuisines, swimming, and playing the piano. |

Mrs. Plumb has been a teacher for nine years, and this is her fifth year at Providence. She has taught both 3rd and 4th grade in FCPS. She has a degree in Elementary Education from William and Mary and a Master's in Reading Education from the University of Virginia. When she's not teaching, Mrs. Plumb enjoys reading, taking day trips with her husband, and playing with her chocolate lab, Mocha. |

Mr. Reeder has been teaching in Fairfax County for nine years and is excited to be at Providence ES for his third year. He has his undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Lynchburg College and a Masters degree in Special Education from George Mason University. In his spare time, Mr. Reeder enjoys reading, running the paths of Northern Virginia, and preparing for the arrival of his daughter in December. |

Mrs. Szczesniak has been teaching for 14 years and this is her 4th year at Providence. She earned her BA from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and her Master's of Education from Marymount University. Ms. Sez loves spending time with her husband and two children and enjoys exercising and reading books for both children and adults. |
