Throughout the Elementary Art experience, FCPS provides an Art Program of Studies that encourages each student to gain a greater sense of their world. Through their Art-making experiences, students also work with a variety of media, strengthening their skill set with each. |

The focus at this level is Self. Each student creates art that requires them to think about different aspects of Self. |

The focus at this level is Community. Each student in Second grade will create a variety of artworks exploring the different aspects of Community, and what it means to be part of a community. |

The focus at this level is Time. Each student in Fourth grade will create artworks exploring Time through a variety of themes. |

The focus at this level is Culture. Each student in Third grade will create a variety of artworks exploring the different Cultures and their influences. |

The focus at this level is Family. Each student in First grade will create a variety of artworks exploring the different aspects of Family. |
