Greetings Poplar Tree Parents and Guardians,
On behalf of the entire staff, WELCOME to another exciting school year! If you are new to the Poplar Tree Community, we extend a warm Panther Welcome to you and yours. Fairfax County Public Schools theme, Turning the Vision into Reality: Child by Child will set the tone for what goals we can and will accomplish for our students and our school. Our vision, as a professional learning community, is to meet the needs of all students by creating a safe environment that fosters excellent student achievement, appreciates and celebrates diversity, and inspires responsible citizens who are R2ICH with character. We must continue to embrace our goals as a partnership and stand committed to turning Poplar Tree Elementary's VISION into REALITY.
We invite each and every one of you to become an active partner in the education of your child. You can help by making sure your child gets plenty of rest, eats a healthy nutritious breakfast each morning, play and exercise, and come prepared to soar each and every day. You can also volunteer your time and talents to help out in the classroom and with school events.
