"The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things,
but their inward significance."
-Aristotle

About the Art Star Program: Each month artwork is selected from first through sixth grade students who have done an outstanding job in art class that month. These students are recognized through the school as Art Stars, and their artwork appears on the television in our school's lobby. Art Stars also receive a certificate from the art teacher. Click on the "Art Stars" button on the left to view a slidshow of Art Stars for this school year.

How to Become an Art Star: To become an Art Star a student must create artwork that is creative, neat and unique. Art Stars are also students who exhibit exemplary classroom manners. A student may only receive the Art Star award once each school year.
