Jan Walsh, department chair, is currently in her 9th year at Pimmit and 29th for the county. Married to a Real Estate Appraiser/Agent they have two grown sons, one is in the aeronautical field and lives outside of Atlanta and the younger is a senior at VA TECH. Jan loves gardening, yoga, her pets and grandpets. |

Mike Salaita has been teaching for three years, all in Alternative Education. He definitely has the shortest commute to work as he & his wife recently bought a house in Pimmit Hills. As a matter of fact, you should honk and wave if you pass Mike while he is walking to work. He has been married 1 year and his wife works in the health insurance industry in Bethesda. Mike likes to watch all sports and play a little basketball or soccer. He is the oldest of 3 siblings. His sister is now living in Ireland and his brother is a published author and teaching at VA Tech. |
