Parents & CommunityBelief Statement Higher student achievement occurs when students are able to communicate - - listen, speak, read and write English effectively and problem solve in all academic areas. Students perform better when instructional practices accommodate differences in learning style and provide opportunities for each student to succeed. Students perform best when they are actively involved in their education and demonstrate responsible adult learning behaviors. The best instruction takes place when students, staff and parents ensure a safe school environment by promoting positivebehaviors in an atmosphere of mutual respect within the school. To meet the demands of the 21st century,students and teachers need to incorporatetechnology in all subject areas both as learning tools and for career/college preparation. Rapport within the school community is enhanced by supporting and strengthening Pimmit Hills School's student leadership team and providing cross-cultural, social, and educational opportunities for students and faculty.
