Office AdministrationGrades 9-12 -- 1 Credit, 140 HoursLearn to develop keyboarding skills; become proficient computer users. This course allows students to reinforce keyboarding skills and acquire knowledge of office routines such as preparing correspondence and business forms, managing electronic records and financial records, and voice recognition. In a team environment (The Company approach), relevant, real-life activities and simulations are used to improve communication skills, business etiquette, and develop job-seeking techniques. After completing Office Administration, students are eligible to take Information Systems. The two courses together count as a business sequence. After completing a business sequence, students are eligible to take the MOS certification test.
