Success By 8
The Success by 8 Program is designed to provide additional staffing, resources, and structure for the purpose of having all students reading on grade level by the end of second grade (age 8).
As a part of the Success by 8 Program, we have four full-day kindergarten classes and four multiage classrooms (Kindergarten-2nd) whose emphasis is on differentiated instruction and the creation of a positive learning environment.
Hallmarks of the program are cross-age learning, cooperative social interaction, respect for the individual child, self-directed, autonomous individuals, the integration of technology, and continuous learning.
Children engage in real and meaningful activities at their own levels of development. Too, there are multiple opportunities for students to both teach and learn from one another.
