Business Partnerships
Two of our business partners, ASCD and the Mason District Police Department, received special recognition from FCPS for their outstanding service to our school through the Mentorworks program.
We have teamed up with the Springfield COSTCO who has graciously provided over 500 backpacks filled with school supplies and other goodies which were distributed at the start of the school year.
Community business partners such as COSTCO, Harris Teeter, and Starbucks provide us with food and supplies for staff celebrations, community events, and many times, just because they care. Starbucks even hosted students and their families one evening as they shared original poetry with an "authentic audience!"
Another of our business partners is the Lincolnia Senior Center. Some of our Parklawn students have gone there to sing for their residents. Many residents have returned the favor by coming to Parklawn to read to our students.
