Join the Orange Hunt PTA!
Orange Hunt PTA is dedicated to the education, health, safety, and well-being of our children. Membership to our PTA is vital to our ability to sponsor ongoing and new programs that enhance our children's curriculum, support enhancement programs after school, and support the staff at Orange Hunt. In the coming year our PTA will provide the following programs:
- Social activities including the Fall Festival, Bingo Night, Basket Auction, and MayFest.
- After-school clubs including Drama Club, Foreign Language Experience (FLEX), Chess Club, and German Club.
- Enhancing our playground and the equipment that our children use
- Mini-grants. This program provides funding for teachers to carry out ideas they have to enrich the curriculum and support the school plan.
- Reflections Program. A program in which children express their creativity in music, art, photography and literature along a given theme.
- Character building assemblies
- In-the-Know Newsletter
- Beautification Day. Spring cleaning on school grounds.
- Field Trips. The PTA pays for transportation for one field trip for each grade level.
- Our PTA provides support in many other areas; to learn more, please attend our meetings which are usually the first Wednesday of each month in the Cafeteria starting at 7 PM.
When you become a member of Orange Hunt PTA you also become a member of Virginia State PTA and National PTA, both of which have done outstanding work in the area of involving parents in their children's education and shaping our children's future.
