Olde Creek Elementary's clinic is staffed by Maria Laguna, a clinic room aide. Clinic room aides are not medical professionals, but are trained by the Fairfax County Health Department and supervised by a school public health nurse (PHN). Our PHN, Ms. Yvette Semler, frequently visits Olde Creek to assist our clinic aide. Clinic Aides are trained to administer emergency first aid, do health screenings, and maintain records for the Health Department. |
