If your child will be absent, please email or call Olde Creek. Please email or phone the school before 8:20 a.m. (school start time), and include in your message the following information: student's name, teacher, date of absence, reason for absence, and who is reporting the absence.
We are required to account for all absences. If an absence is not reported, someone will phone to check on the student/s.
Only absences may be reported by email or phone. The school must still be notified by handwritten note from the parent or guardian of all other changes in a student's daily routine.
Students who are not in their classrooms by 8:20 AM are considered tardy and must report to the office before going to their classrooms.
