Art Club |

Selected sixth grade students particpate in All County Chorus. They meet once a week with our music teacher, Ms. Erickson. These students will perform in the spring with All County Choruses from other FCPS schools.

Band |
|
| |
Olde Creek's Art Club meets every Friday afternoon. Students in grades four through six have the opportunity to work with our art teacher, Ms. Goncarovs, and our kindergarten IA, Ms. Gray, on different art projects. Students receive training on different techniques and they are given the option to work with different mediums. |

Olde Creek fifth and sixth grade students have the opportunity to work with our band teacher, Mr. Tilman, once a week. Olde Creek has a beginning and advanced band. |

The Olde Creek Chess and Checkers club is a PTA sponsored after school activity. Interested students meet in the cafeteria once a week to practice their skills and learn new strategies. Students also participate in local chess tournaments.

Fourth, fifth, and sixth grade students may participate in Olde Creek's Drama Club. Our Drama Club practices twice and week and then performs a play for the school.

Girls on the Run |

Olde Creek Elementary is proud to offer the FLEX program to our students. Students may opt to stay after school to learn Chinese, French, or Spanish. |

Lightning Lions |
|
| |
Girls on the Run® is a program designed to develop self esteem and healthy living in pre-teen girls through running. The students involved in this program train to run in a 3.1 mile race. Girls in grades three through six may participate in this prgoram. Olde Creek's group meets after school twice a week. |

Homework Club meets once a week and provides Olde Creek students the opportunity and time to work with Woodson High School students on their homework and other classroom assignments.

Olde Creek's Jump Rope club allows students to participate in a physical acitivty while having a blast. Our PE teacher, Ms. Sting, leads this group of students with the assistance of former Jump Rope club members. Olde Creek students perform complex jump rope routines to music. Students in grades three through six meet twice a week. Students in grades one and two meet once a week to practice their skills. |

Safety Patrols |

Fifth and sixth grade students have the opportunity to become safety patrols. Safety patrols are trained to ensure the safe travel of students, whether they ride a bus or walk.

| |
Olde Creek's strings program is offered to fourth, fifth, and sixth grade students. The students meet once a week with our strings teacher, Ms. Thompson. |

Student Council Association (SCA) |
|
| |
The Student Council Association (SCA) models representative-style self-government. In addition to lots of fun things, like Wacky Hair Day, the SCA also coordinates community service projects. The student body has brought in canned food for hurricane relief efforts, sponsored a fun night for tsunami relief, and collected supplies for animal rescue organizations. |
