Our Mission: The Oakton Writing Center is a professional student-run center where students receive friendly, quality assistance on writing for all classes and levels from trained tutors. Our mission is to guide students through the writing process, to help students become more confident thinkers and writers, and to provide lasting writing skills to the best of our ability.

What We Tutor: All forms of writing including, but not limited to, English, science, history, and foreign language

Location: Room 133 near the Burgundy Office

What Students Need to Bring to be Tutored: A copy of the assignment, the assignment’s rubric, and a pencil

Schedule:

*The Oakton Writing Center is open during ALL LUNCHES during the LAST TWO WEEKS of every quarter
