National Honor Society Glenn Cunningham Chapter
Membership in the Oakton chapter is an honor bestowed upon a student.  Selection for membership is by a faculty council and is based on outstanding scholarship, character, leadership, and service. Please review the Information Packet.

Events:

• The Red Cross Club will meet today at 2:15 in Room 206 and 208.  Everyone who is interested should attend.
• The Economic Society of Oakton will have their first interest meeting on today at 2:15 in room 211.
• The French Honors Society will be selling crepes in the gym lobby after school today! Don't miss out on the yummy French cuisine!
• Faculty and students are invited to attend a ceremony for our athletes who are signing their National Letter of Intents today at 2:45 in the cafeteria. Come celebrate the success of our fine athletes!
• The Science Honor Society will be meeting this Thursday in the lecture hall at 2:15. 
• If your last name is BUN-DIA, your new counselor, Mr. Grausz, has booked the Lecture Hall for Cougar time this Friday so that 10th and 11th grade students can meet him.
• There will be a brief Japan Bowl information meeting immediately after school today in room 249 today. Please attend if you are interested in participating this year.
