National Honor Society Glenn Cunningham Chapter
Membership in the Oakton chapter is an honor bestowed upon a student.  Selection for membership is by a faculty council and is based on outstanding scholarship, character, leadership, and service. Please review the Information Packet.

Events:

• The Theatre department presents "Rehearsal For Murder" through Saturday at 7:00pm in the Auditorium. Tickets are $10.00 at the door.

• Seniors, All applications for Take Over Day are due today!

• The Oakton Dive team is looking for girls interested in joining. No previous dive experience is required. See Ms. Nugent in the Activities Office for more information.

• Come out and support Oakton’s Varsity Ice Hockey team, for  the  season opener against Briar Woods, tonight at 9pm at the Ashburn Ice House.They will also be playing this Sunday against Chantilly at 2:30 at the Ashburn Ice House.

• The dance team will be competing in the Fairfax Dance Classic tomorrow at Paul the Sixth High School. The competition will be from 12-3 pm and tickets are $5 each.

• The Future Medical Leaders of America club is holding their next meeting Monday, at Two-Fifteen in room One-Twenty.

• The Red Cross PB and J drive for the homeless shelter is taking place Monday. Bring a loaf of bread and peanut butter and jelly to room 175 to contribute.

• There will be a National English Honor Society Meeting Monday after school in room 258.
