We conclude that it was very hard for the pioneers to travel to the west. They faced many hardships and problems on their way. From our information we learned that the west had many oppurtunities but was very dangerous. The westward movement was tragic but still useful, there were many times when people died on there journey to the west. The pioneers had great progress and sucess.
