Welcome to the English for Speakers of Other Languages web page! Newington Forest has two full time ESOL specialists, Marci Waro and Francine Speziale. The ESOL team works together with the teachers in Newington Forest to service over 100 students. We meet the Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking needs of our students in three different ways. Most often we provide support within their classroom, in an inclusion setting. Other situations call for pulling the students from the classrooms to provide support in a small group setting. As students are getting ready to exit the ESOL program we may monitor their progress and offer support to the teacher.
