Mrs. Turck and Mrs. Myers

Turck was in the Army, their travels took them to Kansas, Texas, Washington State and Europe then finally to Virginia. Mrs. Turck graduated from Stonehill College in Massachusetts and received her Master’s degree from National Louis University in Heidelberg, Germany.  Mrs. Turck has been teaching a long time and has been teaching kindergarten for over 22 years. She says there is no other grade that she would rather teach!  When not at school, Mrs. Turck likes to sew, quilt, read and spend time at the beach.

Mrs. Myers volunteered in her 3 children’s Fairfax County Schools before deciding to become an official school staff member.  She had been an instructional assistant with elementary and preschool special education programs before finding her love working in kindergarten.  She’s been in kindergarten for the past 12 years, the last 2 being here at Navy.   After school Mrs. Myers enjoys crafting of all kinds, shelling on the beach, reading and spending lots of time with her family and friends.
