Hi there! I am Miss Talone and I teach in the Learning Lab K-3. I have been teaching for three years. This will be my second year here at Navy. I was born and raised in New Jersey where I graduated from Seton Hall University. I am certified in Elementary and Special Education, as well as Early Childhood Education. When I’m not teaching I enjoy reading. My favorite author is Jodi Picoult. I love spending time with my family, friends, and my puppy, Mia. My favorite part about teaching is watching children get excited about learning and making new discoveries. I am very excited for the 2009-2010 school year!

Mrs. Brewer is delighted to be working with the children in the Lower Learning Lab.  Mrs. Brewer has worked at Navy for four years.  She was a kindergarten aide for two years and then became an aide with the Special Education team.  Mrs. Brewer got her degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Developmental Reading from James Madison University.  She was a first grade teacher in Fairfax County for seven years.  When she is not teaching, Mrs. Brewer enjoys watching her two boys play lacrosse, reading and going for long walks at the park.
