Mrs. Leon is an ESOL teacher at Navy.  She graduated form the University of Kansas with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Reading.  She later received an endorsement in ESOL from the University of Phoenix.  She has taught 1st through 6th graders over the passed 30 years in both a regular classroom setting as well as beginning the  ESOL program at Navy four years ago.  When not teaching children, Mrs. Leon enjoys cooking, taking long walks, reading good books, and spending time with friends and family.
