Mrs. Genus is part of Navy’s fabulous first grade team!  She was born and grew up here in Fairfax, VA.  She went to James Madison University where she earned her BS in Psychology and Elementary Education.  She has taught third, second and first grades here at Navy during the last eleven years and has loved every minute of it!  Outside of school Mrs.Genus enjoys going to the gym, reading, shopping and playing with her dog Abe.  Her favorite activities however include spending time with her family and friends.
