I’m Mrs. Genus and I am so excited to be teaching kindergarten this year!  I have taught third, second and first grades here at Navy and I’m ready for the excitement that only kindergarteners can bring to school!
I was born and raised here in Fairfax, VA.  I went to James Madison University where I earned my BS in Psychology and Elementary Education.  I then began my teaching career here at Navy thirteen years ago as a student teacher in kindergarten.  Outside of school I enjoy going to the gym, reading, shopping and playing with my dog Abe.  My favorite activity however is spending time with my family and friends.
