Mrs. Fitzpatrick currently teaches 2nd grade and is entering in her 17th year of teaching.  She has been teaching 2nd and 3rd for the past six years at Navy.  Her Bachelor’s of Science in Education is from George Mason University.  Having taught Kindergarten and 1st grades in her earlier years, she discovered that she has a fabulous rapport with 2nd and 3rd graders.  While bringing much enthusiasm and joy to her classroom, she loves watching her students’ passion for learning grow and is amazed by all they can learn and do both inside and outside of the classroom.  She has lived in Northern Virginia all of her life.  Outside of school, Mrs. Fitzpatrick spends much of her time reading, traveling, hiking, biking, and enjoying the great outdoors with her husband and three young children.  Other things that are of great interest are tinkering on the piano, playing golf, watching football, classic movies, and spending as much time as she can with family and friends.
