Teresa is delighted to be teaching her third year of first grade at Navy Elementary and is looking forward to greeting her new class. She grew up in Tennessee and graduated from the University of Tennessee. After years at home, raising three daughters, she completed graduate courses from UT Nashville and The University of Virginia. She taught pre-school for two years, kindergarten for nine, and finally graduated to first grade five years ago! She and her husband have lived in Fairfax for 26 years. She enjoys reading and traveling to tropical places, but most of all loves spending time with her family that includes a granddaughter born this summer.
