Vine Snake
Characteristics: A vine snake is long, slender, and about 2cm thick (about the thickness of a person's finger!). They are green and brown and have fangs with venom. They have long, green tongues that are often out of their mouths.
Habitat: These snakes live in trees in the rainforests of Central and South America.
Diet: Carnivores that eat mice and small lizards. They inject venom from their fangs that paralyzes their prey, and then they swallow their meal.
Predators: Vine snakes are predators.
