Aye-Aye
Characteristics: They have large eyes, a long tail, and black hair. These primates grow to about 40 cm long. The tail of this mammal is usually a lot longer than its body. Aye-Ayes sleep during the day and are active at night, so they are nocturnal.
Habitat: They spend most of their time in trees of rainforests in Madagascar, and island of Africa. The canopy of the rainforest is very high
up, and this is where the aye-aye often stays. Diet: Aye-Ayes eat insects and fruits, especially coconut. Seeds, nuts and fungi are also eaten. An omnivore eats all kinds of different foods.
