Anaconda
Characteristics: Anacondas are the biggest snakes in the world. They grow their whole lives and can get to be over 30 feet long!
These snakes are cold-blooded (like all snakes) and greenish-brown with round black spots.
Habitat: They live in swampy, wet areas in South America.
Diet: The anaconda is a carnivore (meat-eater). They eat whole pigs, deer, birds, rodents, and fish.  They swallow their food without chewing.
Predators: Jaguars and other anacondas prey upon anacondas.
