Mr. Byrnes is a product of the Fairfax County school system.  He is a proud graduate of South Lakes High School and extremely fond of Virginia Tech where he graduated with a Bachelor Arts degree in Communications.  He received his Masters degree in Education from Marymount University and taught sixth grade for two years before coming to Navy.  Mr. Byrnes enjoys reading, sports, listening to music, and spending time with his family especially his soon to be one year old son.  Mr. Byrnes is the freshman basketball coach at South Lakes High School and truly enjoys working with the kids at Navy and South Lakes.
