Melissa Bookoff currently is a full time school counselor. She has been a counselor at Navy since 2005. She previously taught special education in the county for three years. Ms. Bookoff  received  her Bachelors of Science in Psychology from the University of Maryland at College Park. She earned her Masters in Education in guidance counseling from Loyola College. She has also thrived in helping others and seeing the impact she can make. She has had a compassion for helping kids and seeing the growth academically, socially and emotionally. She grew up in Baltimore and moved to Northern Virginia when she starting teaching in the county.  Outside of school, Ms. Bookoff  enjoys watching movies, especially comedy!!! She is also a football fan!!! She enjoys spending as much time as she can with her family and friends !!!!!!!!!
