Miss Beck is teaching her first year at Navy Elementary School.  She was born in Virginia Beach, VA and grew up in Chesapeake, where her mother is also a music teacher.  She graduated from George Mason University with her Bachelor’s in Instrumental Music Education (her major instrument is clarinet).  She has two sisters, one older and one younger that is in her second year at George Mason.  She is currently living in Centreville, and is also on staff as pit instructor for the 2008-2009 Centreville High School Marching Wildcats.  Miss Beck is looking forward to a great year at Navy!
