Mr. Coch is very excited to be the principal at Navy ES and looks forward to working together with the community, staff, and students.  He grew up in Indianapolis, IN, which is the home of his favorite football team the Indianapolis Colts.  He attended Clarion University of PA for his Bachelor’s Degree and George Mason for his Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership. He began teaching in Fairfax County Public Schools in 2001. Before Navy ES, he was the Assistant Principal at Newington Forest ES, a 6th Grade Teacher at Silverbrook ES, and a Math Specialist and 6th Grade Teacher at Groveton ES. Outside of school, Mr. Coch enjoys spending time with his wife, Kristen, and two daughters, Madelyn and Alayna.  He also enjoys exercising, reading, watching sports, and playing basketball.
