At Mount Vernon High School, Mrs. Felix's Interior Design classes are putting to work their knowledge and skills of making different window treatments. During the course of study, students identified different types of windows, window construction and window treatments. Additionally, the students researched window construction and sketched different window treatments.

As an assessment, the students constructed interior window treatments for the MVHS main office. The project consisted of cornice boards, adorned with the Mount Vernon High School colors and the varsity letter. They have been hung above eight windows in the main office.
