The FCCLA club is an integral part of the Family and Consumer Sciences classes. Student involvement provides many leadership opportunities and helps develop lifetime skills focusing on the home and workplace. Club activities have included becoming certified in internet safety through www.iSafe.org, sponsoring an assembly featuring Miss Virginia 2007, the national iSafe spokesperson, and orchestrating a STOP the Violence Week. Students are also preparing to enter District and State FCCLA competitions.
