Lead Reporter Task:
- Report on the Igbo religion and the impact of Europeans and Christianity on the Igbo. In addition to this, the lead reporter is responsible for choosing which newsletter template to use in Microsoft Publisher and placing his or her story or stories on the front page.
- Using Microsoft Publisher, your group will create a newsletter on the Igbo. You must create 1 page of your group's newsletter, for a total of 4 pages for the group. Each page should have at least 1 graphic (i.e. map, picture, art object, etc.)
Make certain you include information on the following in your report:
- Traditional Igbo religion beliefs and practices
- Impact of Christianity and missionaries on the Igbo people and culture include both negative (i.e. less respect for native culture, exploitation of resources, racism) and positive (i.e. abolition of slave trade and human sacrifice, educational system, legal system).
