Mount Eagle Elementary School

Third Grade at Mount Eagle
Third grade has been on a letter writing campaign! We started out easy and wrote to Mrs. Hendrick and Mr. Butler. We wrote letters to Veterans on Veteran's Day and dropped them off at the VFW in Arlington. The commander of the Post wrote us back. We have also written to two college students: Alicia Edwards at Tuskegee University and Chris Newcomb at VMI. We are anxiously awaiting replies. The letters we receive back are posted outside our rooms. We will culminate this writing event by writing to the President in early spring. Our writing skils have improved tremendously!!!!
