Mount Eagle Technology

Here at Mount Eagle our teachers are committed to using technology to enhance their lessons and help the students learn. To that end, we have classroom computers and a 26 computer lab. The School Based Technology Specialist helps teachers with planning and teaching lessons using technology. The Technology Support Specialist makes sure that all of our equipment is up and running.

Each classroom has 4 laptop computers in it. These computers are used for centers, projects and to ehnance the classroom instruction. FECEP and Kindergarten also have desktop computers that serve as Waterford Stations for literacy instruction.

The computer lab has 26 laptop computers. Teachers sign up and bring their students into the lab for lessons in all curriculum areas. Specialists also bring students into the lab for lessons.
We have SmartBoards in each classroom. We also have one in the music room, one in the library and one in the computer lab. The SmartBoards are interactive whiteboards that allow the teacher to integrate technology in all subject areas.
