| Big Mama laid 12 eggs in mid-May. 8 of the eggs looked good. She laid them deep in her cave, covered them up with sand and filled in the cave completely. When she was exhausted and not paying much attention we uncovered the eggs and placed them in a Tupperware container with moist vermiculite. We kept the eggs moist and at 83 degrees Celsius. The eggs began to hatch on July 20th, 4 babies hatched and 3 survived. |
