All geosystems’ classes had a wonderful adventure to Skyline Caverns near Luray, Virginia on October 12, 2005. Students explored the cavern’s stalactites, stalagmites, underground streams, a waterfall, and examined the Karst topography. The caverns are one of the only places that display anthrodites, the “orchids of the mineral kingdom”.
