The Renaissance era was a time for great change in the world. Not only with art, but with science, mathematics and literature.
During this unit, you will learn about artists of the Renaissance era and how their work changed people's perspectives about philosophy, mathematics and science. You and your partner will design a picture that represents your view of an important influence of the Renaissance Era and its impact on the teachings of the world at that time. You will actually use the advanced techniques invented by the Renaissance artists to create your picture. Once you have completed your picture outline on a 10 X 10 square, you will color a copy to use as a guide. Finally, you will paint the enlarged version of your picture on an outside wall of Mt. View School.
